Over a two week period I presented 42 catwalk parades and worked with 179 people, many of whom were students from top Sydney fashion and Hair and Beauty schools including Karl Von Bussen and TAFE St. George, Ultimo and Mt. Druitt. Models also came from Blue Mountains Grammar School.
Over three hundred vintage outfits from the collection hung on racks waiting to be chosen each day to celebrate the four fabulous natural fibres.
Vintage clothes are such wonderful story tellers and, when worn on the catwalk, bring the history of fashion to life. The stars of the show were the natural fibres themselves: cotton, wool, mohair and alpaca. Our venue was the Natural Fibre Pavilion where over 10,000 visitors watched our catwalk parades and presentations. What a fantastic experience!
