THE DARNELL COLLECTION ON THE CATWALK, iD DUNEDIN

This was such an exciting moment - the first night of the catwalk parade when my turn finally came right at the end of all the other fabulous parades. Lights went down low, the music began and Penelope's beautiful voice wafted out over the 1500 strong audience. When the first outfit apeared - the 70s white lace pant suit - I felt like a proud mother! (and I am sure Doris would have felt just as proud watching this too). 16 outfits were paraded down the 110 metre long catwalk.
